NOTE: Forest inventory maps were developed from interpretation of 1:15,840 aerial photography. Each forest inventory map covers one township (36 square miles). For purposes of indexing and assembling the data, multiple townships of data have been packaged into Forest Management Units (FMU). Within each FMU zipped download package, the individual townships are maintained as separate files along with their associated attributes. The user has the option of loading down the entire FMU or may choose the "open" option within the download sequence and select only the township(s) that are required. The .DOC is a zipped dataset containing up to three metadata files as well as two(2) Word documents: the Provincial Forest Inventory Field Instruction Manual and GIS Codes.
From the index map, determine which FMU covers the area of interest and then select any of the various products from the table below the index map.
NOTE: All the .GIF selections contain a sample view of FMU 61
