The Shoal Lakes LiDAR data was produced as a digital elevation model (DEM) and can be used to generate contours. DEM data can be used in a GIS environment.
The data provided is a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) covering 1036 square-kilometers of the Shoal Lakes/Delta Marsh watershed in Manitoba. The DEM file is a 32 bit floating Geotiff based on UTM z14 NAD83.

LiDAR was acquired by Leica ALS70 HP at a point density of 4 points per square metre. DEM tiles were created at 1m resolution
Accuracy value is based on the aggregate error inherent in the production process.

Shoal lake DEM was created from Classfied Las
Coverage of the DEM follow the client's outline and a 200m buffer was added.
Lidar was acquired on Oct 7+8, 2019. Lidar was calibrated and was based on NAD83 and CGVD28 datum using UTM 14 North projection and was classified. The classified data was used to create the DEM using the following classes: 2 (ground), 9 (water). Dem was created at a 1m resoultion and then exported out as a Geotiff with 32 bit floating elevations. Images were cut into tiles based on 5km x 5km index.
